1. Information we collect
Account information: email, phone number if provided, display name, authentication identifiers and profile details.
Activity: episodes viewed or completed, saved titles, check-ins, referral events, reward claims, offer reveals, creator or ambassador submissions and support messages.
Brand partnership information: business contact details, campaign briefs, optional script ideas, product information, paid-package references, publication links and campaign performance reports submitted through or displayed in a brand account.
Shopping and payout details: selected product links, offer status, withdrawal amount, PayPal email and payout status. Plotfai does not collect retailer card numbers or PayPal passwords.
Device and service information: IP address, browser or device type, timestamps, error logs, security signals and device-local identifiers used to operate and protect the service.
2. How we use information
We use information to provide accounts and content, award and redeem Plot Coins, honor referrals, maintain My List, review submissions and withdrawal requests, manage brand partnerships and reporting, answer support messages, protect the service, prevent fraud, measure performance, comply with law and improve Plotfai.
3. When information is disclosed
We disclose information to service providers that support hosting, authentication, analytics, communications, fraud prevention and payouts; to retail or social platforms when you choose their features; to professional advisers; during a business transaction; or when required to protect rights, safety or comply with law. These providers receive only information reasonably needed for their role.
4. Referrals, social actions and shopping links
Referral links contain a code associated with the referring account. When a new member qualifies, both accounts may receive the stated reward. Social platforms decide what confirmation they make available. External shopping links may include a partner code, and Plotfai may receive compensation from qualifying purchases. Retailers apply their own privacy notices.
5. Cookies and local storage
We use cookies and similar storage for sign-in, security, referral codes, playback, saved preferences and service measurement. Our first-party analytics measure visits, navigation, signups, episode activity, rewards, referrals and shopping-link interactions using random browser and session identifiers, referral domains and campaign tags. The analytics report does not store email addresses or raw IP addresses and is not used for cross-site advertising. Browser controls can limit some storage, but account, reward and measurement features may not work correctly.
6. Data retention and security
We retain information while your account is active and as needed for the purposes above, including dispute, fraud, tax, accounting and legal obligations. Retention periods vary by record. We use administrative, technical and organizational safeguards, but no online service can promise absolute security.
7. Your choices and rights
You may update profile information, disconnect optional services, stop promotional communications and request access, correction or deletion through Contact Us. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to know categories and sources, receive a portable copy, restrict certain uses, object, appeal or receive equal service after exercising privacy rights. We may verify your identity before completing a request.
Plotfai does not currently sell personal information for money or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined by California law. If that practice changes, we will update this notice and provide required choices. We honor legally required browser preference signals where applicable.
8. Children
Plotfai is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided information, contact us so we can review and delete it. Members ages 13 through 17 should use Plotfai only with permission from a parent or guardian where required.
9. United States processing and changes
Plotfai operates in the United States. Information may be processed in the United States and other locations where providers operate, subject to appropriate protections. We may update this notice as services or law change and will revise the effective date; material changes receive additional notice when required.
